further down the road, I saw an humble man or at least so it seemed

I knew he was humble because he had no smile and he had barefeet

the snakes around him laughed at me when I walked by

and sneered on his loneliness (or at least so it seemed)

but the man was not alone and little did I know

that the snakes were his pets and that this man it was me
